Abstract:
The fiber waterproofing product (1) according to the present invention is provided with: a waterproofing agent (2) containing a polymer that is dissolved in a volatile solvent and has a prescribed solubility; and a spray-type discharge container (3) which is filled with the waterproofing agent 2. When the waterproofing agent (2) is sprayed over a fiber article from the spray-type discharge container (3), droplets (21) of the sprayed waterproofing agent (2) have a speed of at most 400 cm/sec at a position 10 cm away from the spray-type discharge container (3), as determined by the following method. The speed of the droplets (21) is determined by dividing the distance, that is 5 cm, between a position 5 cm away from the spray-type discharge container (3) and a position 10 cm away therefrom by a moving time (in seconds) of the droplets (21) from the position 5 cm away from the spray-type discharge container (3) to the position 10 cm away therefrom.
