Abstract:
Fibers each of which is made from a thermoplastic resin composition containing a polypropylene resin (A) and a polypropylene resin (B) (excluding the polypropylene resin (A)) and has a fiber diameter of 2.0 denier or less, wherein the polypropylene resin (A) is such a resin that, when a sample is held at -10°C for 5 minutes under a nitrogen atmosphere and is then heated at a rate of 10°C/min. and a melting endothermic curve of the sample is produced using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), a melting endothermic quantity (ΔH-D) obtained from the melting endothermic curve is 0 to 80 J/g inclusive and the melt flow rate (MFR) as measured in accordance with JIS K7210 under the conditions including a temperature of 230°C and a load of 2.16 kg is 1000 g/10 minutes or more, and the polypropylene resin (B) has a melting point (Tm-D) of higher than 120°C.
