Abstract:
Provided are: a fibrous water-absorbing resin which can be produced by a relatively simple method and with relatively high productivity; a method for producing the fibrous water-absorbing resin; and an absorbent article. The method for producing a fibrous water-absorbing resin is a method for producing a fibrous water-absorbing resin by applying a high-flow-rate gas (6) to a continual flow (7) of a solution (1) of a water-soluble polymer, which is produced by ejecting the water-soluble polymer solution through a solution ejection nozzle (3), to draw the water-soluble polymer, and then subjecting the resultant product to a crosslinking treatment.
