Abstract:

The present invention relates to a field-assembled optical connector for outdoor use and, more specifically, to a field-assembled optical connector for outdoor use, which enables the connection of a connector and the fusion of an optical fiber in the field and thus enables an optical fiber connector to be assembled according to the field installation length, thereby preventing unnecessary waste of optical fiber cables and preventing generation of a factor hindering aesthetics due to the remains thereof; and applies a sealing member to a plug and a housing, the plug and a protective cap, and a screw cap and the protective cap, which are assembly portions of the connector, thereby enabling manufacture of a waterproof-type fusion connector which can be used even in the outside.
