Abstract:
This field-winding type dynamo-electric machine (40) is provided with a stator (50, 150) and a rotor (60, 160). The stator has a stator core (51,151) and a polyphase stator winding (52,152). The rotor has a rotor core (61,161), a main pole portion (62,162) provided at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction and protruding in the radial direction from the rotor core, and field windings (70, 170) wound around the main pole portion. A plurality of magnetic poles having alternating polarities in the circumferential direction are formed by a field current flowing through the field winding. A stator winding is provided on the peripheral surface of the stator core on the rotor side in the radial direction. The stator core is not provided with teeth that protrude from the stator core toward the rotor side in the radial direction.
