Abstract:
Provided are a filament having excellent tensile strength and forming workability, and a fluororesin composition for the filament. A filament comprising a fluororesin composition that includes a fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin and a non-fluorine thermoplastic resin, wherein the filament is characterized in that: the total of the fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin and the non-fluorine thermoplastic resin in the fluorine resin composition is 70% or more by volume; the fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin constitutes 0.1-50% by volume of the total of the fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin and the non-fluorine thermoplastic resin; and a scanning electron microphotograph of the filament in a vertical cross-section in the length direction has no regions measuring 3 μm or more in the long diameter of the regions comprising the fluorine-containing thermoplastic resin, within a rectangular range of 40 × 30 μm.
