A file sharing method, device, and system, mainly relating to the technical field of computers. The method comprises: obtaining files to be shared, and performing a blockchain chaining operation on formed file compression packages; according to file names of the compression packages and hash values thereof, generating by calculation a root hash value; and obtaining file compression packages in a blockchain according to the root hash value. The technical problem of excessive burden of network resources caused by a large number of files is partially solved by compressing a plurality of files into file compression packages; the efficiency of chaining and sharing of the files is increased by concurrently chaining the file compression packages; the files are stored or updated, and the root hash value is shared by using data structures such as a binary tree structure, a multi-way tree structure, and a dynamic tree structure to obtain, according to the root hash value and node hash values, said files to be shared, which improves the security of the files.
