Abstract:
Provided are a film affixing device and film affixing method whereby film affixing in which the occurrence of residual air is suppressed can be performed by a simple method. A control part controls movement of a suction chucking unit 30 and a pressing unit 60 so that a portion of a film 10 to be affixed is inclined in relation to a surface of an affixing position of an end 11, and the film 10 is affixed to the end 11 by gradually affixing a bonding part along an affixing direction from one region to another region while the portion of the film 10 to be affixed is pressed by the pressing unit 60.
