Abstract:
The present invention provides: a film antenna which enables easy formation of an antenna pattern; and a method for producing a film antenna. A film antenna 10 according to the present invention comprises, on a surface of a substrate 12, a thin film layer 13 which contains, within the same plane, a portion 16a that constitutes an antenna pattern and a portion 16b that does not constitute an antenna pattern. The portion 16a that constitutes an antenna pattern is composed of a conductive film that contains a metal; and the portion 16b that does not constitute an antenna pattern is composed of a non-conductive film that contains at least one substance selected from among a metal oxide, a metal nitride and a metal carbide.
