Abstract:
The present invention relates to a film for detecting harmful substances and a method for producing the same, which comprises a dye and optionally a redox compound in an alginate matrix with improved detection sensitivity. A film for detecting harmful substances, according to the present invention, and a sensor for detecting harmful substances comprising the same are improved in sensitivity to recognize the presence or absence of harmful substances in comparison to the conventional sensor for detecting harmful substances, and thereby enables a user to quickly recognize the presence or absence of harmful substances, without any particular equipment, at low cost. In addition, there are advantages of having convenient portability and capability of use in various environments such as various temperature and humidity environments.
