Abstract:
Disclosed is a film-grade polyphenylene sulfide resin, mainly prepared by reacting sodium sulfide, an alkali metal hydroxide, a catalyst, p-dichlorobenzene and m-dichlorobenzene for 3-6 hours in an environment of 220°C-260°C. Also provided is a preparation method for the resin, comprising the following steps: (1) the sodium sulfide and the alkali metal hydroxide are stirred and dispersed in a solvent NMP, and then dehydrated to obtain a mixture; and (2) the solvent NMP, the catalyst, the p-dichlorobenzene and the m-dichlorobenzene are added to the mixture, the temperature is increased to 220°C-260°C and a polymerization reaction is performed for 3-6 hours so as to obtain the film-grade polyphenylene sulfide resin. With regard to the resin of the present invention, a suitable amount of the m-dichlorobenzene is added when the p-dichlorobenzene is used as a raw material for the synthesis of a PPS resin, such that a linear polyphenylene sulfide molecular chain is changed into an elastic polyphenylene sulfide molecular chain with a curved structure, enabling the transverse tensile capacity of a polyphenylene sulfide film prepared from the resin to be improved. In addition, the weight-average molecular weight of a polymer is controlled by controlling a reaction temperature and a reaction time, such that the thickness of a formed film is more uniform.
