Abstract:
Disclosed are a film (40) and a preparation method therefor, a housing (20), and an electronic device (100), belonging to the technical field of films. In the film (40), liquid crystal layers (42, 43) are provided with a predetermined liquid crystal pattern composed of aligned liquid crystal, the predetermined liquid crystal pattern being configured to be formed by means of photo-controlled alignment of a photo-crosslinked polymer liquid crystal liquid under a mask provided with a predetermined pattern. An optical film layer and the liquid crystal layers (42, 43) are overlappingly disposed. The present application can cause the preparation of the liquid crystal layers (42, 43) to not be limited by steps of the preparation method for the film (40). Furthermore, the aligned liquid crystal is capable of reflecting incoming light, thereby improving brightness of the film (40). The wavelength of reflected light changes with the incident angle of incident light. Furthermore, the liquid crystal pattern is predetermined so that the housing (20) having the film (40) can display a color, thereby enriching the display effects of the housing (20).
