Abstract:

Embodiments provide a filter included in an aerosol generating article, the filter comprising: a first filter segment comprising a first filter element carrying particles of at least one heterogeneous material; a second filter segment comprising a second filter element; and a wrapper surrounding the first filter segment and the second filter segment, wherein the first filter segment and the second filter segment are aligned with respect to a longitudinal direction of the filter, and the first filter segment and the second filter segment are not physically separated.
