Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to eliminate bubbles included in hydraulic oil before filtering the hydraulic oil so as not to discharge the eliminated bubbles into the liquid stored in a hydraulic oil tank.
If liquid flows into a case from an inflow pipe, which is provided substantially along the outer periphery of a filter case on a side surface of the filter case, along a tangent direction at any point on the side surface of the filter case, a swirling flow arises in the inflowing liquid, air included in the fluid collects in the center part of the swirling flow, and bubbles are generated. Since the positions of the inflow pipe and a filter element are not overlapping in the direction of height, the liquid flows in toward a hollow part of the filter element from the case while swirling. The bubbles generated in the center part of the swirling flow are discharged into a space above the liquid surface of fluid stored inside a tank via air bleeder holes provided in the top surface or side surface of the filter case.
