Abstract:
This filter device has: a first electrode in which a plurality of first openings are provided; a second electrode in which a plurality of second openings are provided, and which is provided facing one surface of the first electrode; a filtration material in which a plurality of mesh openings are provided, and which is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode; a filtration chamber to which is supplied a to-be-treated liquid that includes a liquid and particles to be separated, and which is provided in contact with the other surface of the first electrode; a third electrode that faces the first electrode with the filtration chamber interposed therebetween; a first power supply that supplies, to the first electrode, a first potential having the same polarity as the particles; a second power supply that supplies, to the second electrode, a second potential having the same polarity as the particles; and a third power supply that supplies, to the third electrode, a third potential having a different polarity than the particles.
