Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filter having a cleaning-by-brushing function and a strainer using same, the filter of the present invention comprising: a filter part having a hollow structure of which one end is closed, the closed end filtering out foreign substances by opposing the direction in which a fluid flows; a rotation means which has a rotating blade and is mounted on the closed end of the filter part, the rotating blade rotating by using the force of the flowing fluid; and a brushing means which is mounted to the rotating blade, so as to be positioned on the outer circumference of the filter part, and rotates along with the rotating blade so as to clean the outer circumference of the filter part. According to the present invention, as the brushing means cleans the filter while being rotated by the force of the flowing fluid, foreign substances are prevented from clogging the water-passing surface of the filter, so that the water-passing surface thereof is maintained for a long period. This has the effect of elongating the interval in which a pipe manager conducts cleaning and ensures a stable flow rate for a long period.
