Abstract:
The present invention provides a filter material for an air filter that has a PF value higher than that up to now and an air filter provided with the same. This filter material for an air filter is formed from a wet type nonwoven fabric that includes glass fibers with an average fiber diameter less than 1 µm and binder fibers. The wet type nonwoven fabric includes a fluorine resin and a surface active agent, and does not include a binder resin or includes a binder resin at 50% by mass or less to the fluorine resin.
