Abstract:
Provided is a filter molded body for a gas generator, the filter molded body comprising: a circumferential wall part that has a hollow cylindrical shape, and is formed by a wound body of filter wires on which a groove is formed at one location in the circumferential direction of metal wires having circular or elliptical cross-sections, the groove extending along the extension direction of the metal wires, and circumferential surfaces are formed in the portions other than the groove; a gas inflow surface that is formed by one of the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall part, and causes gas to flow into the circumferential wall part; and a gas discharge surface that is formed by the other of the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall part, and causes gas to discharge from the circumferential wall part, wherein the groove is oriented so as to open toward the gas inflow surface of the circumferential wall part.
