Abstract:

Provided are a filter for a smoking article, and a smoking article comprising same. A filter according to some embodiments according to the present disclosure may include: a filter plug comprising a filter material; and a liquid material added to the filter plug. Here, the molecular weight of a hydrophilic group of the filter material may be greater than or equal to the molecular weight of a hydrophobic group of the filter material. In this case, physical property changes in the filter caused by the addition of the liquid material may be minimized.
