Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filter system for filtering animal accommodation air, animal accommodation provided therewith and method therefor. The filter system according to the invention comprises: a housing provided with an inlet for supplying the gaseous mixture for filtering and an outlet for discharging the filtered gaseous mixture; a liquid container arranged in the housing and configured to hold a liquid with a liquid surface therein; and air displacing means configured to carry the gaseous mixture for filtering via the inlet and substantially along or through the liquid during use and to discharge the filtered gaseous mixture via the outlet, wherein the outlet is provided with an exit side for discharging the filtered gaseous mixture out of the housing and an entry side close to the liquid surface, wherein the entry side of the outlet is further provided with an air guide extending substantially parallel to the liquid surface.
