Abstract:
This filtration device includes: a meandering flow passage having alternating straight sections and corner sections, each of the straight sections extending straight, each of the corner sections being bent and folded back in the direction opposite the direction of flow of fluid flowing through a straight section; and a filtration membrane having a membrane surface which is parallel to the direction of flow of the fluid which flows through the flow passage, and dividing the flow passage into the supply side and the permeation side. The cross-sectional area of at least a portion of a corner section is smaller than the cross-sectional area of each portion of a straight section.
