Abstract:
This filtration device comprises: a sealed container which has an internal sealed space and which is formed by combining an upper container and a lower container; a filter material which separates the sealed space into an upper first space and a lower second space; an introduction unit which introduces into the first space a liquid to be processed which contains a liquid and particles to be separated; a first electrode which has multiple first openings and which extends along the upper surface of the filter material; a second electrode which has multiple second openings and which extends along the lower surface of the filter material; a first power supply which supplies to the first electrode a first potential of the same polarity as that of the particles; and a second power supply which supplies to the second electrode a second potential that has the same polarity as that of the particles and that has a greater absolute value than that of the first potential. The upper container is conductive, is connected to a reference potential, and acts as a third electrode.
