Abstract:
Provided are a fingerprint identification apparatus and an electronic device. The fingerprint identification apparatus is applied to an electronic device that has a display screen. The fingerprint identification apparatus comprises: at least one fingerprint sensor chip; and a support plate. The support plate is provided with a first open window, and the at least one fingerprint sensor chip is fixed and arranged in the first open window. In the embodiments of the present application, the at least one fingerprint sensor chip is disposed in the first open window of the support plate, which may not only reduce the cost and complexity of the electronic device, but also improve the maintainability. Especially for a scenario that has a plurality of fingerprint sensor chips, the cost and complexity of the electronic device may be effectively reduced, and the maintainability is greatly improved. In addition, the thickness of the fingerprint identification apparatus may be effectively reduced.
