Abstract:
Provided are a fingerprint recognition method and apparatus, and an electronic device, which can reduce the fluctuation of optical fingerprint spots, thereby improving the fingerprint recognition effect. The method comprises: controlling a display screen to be in a first display mode, wherein in the first display mode, the current of each pixel of the display screen is limited to a predetermined threshold value; and when the display screen is in the first display mode, collecting an optical signal emitted from the display screen and returned from a finger above the display screen by means of reflection or scattering, wherein the optical signal is used for fingerprint recognition.
