Abstract:
Provided is a fire detection device which makes it possible to: prevent the entry of external disturbance light to a detection space; and appropriately process internal disturbance light. A detector 100 for detecting a fire in a monitoring region comprises: a detection space into which a detection target resulting from the fire moves; a light emission unit 71 that emits, in the detection space, emission light to detect the detection target; a reception unit 72 that receives scattered light generated through scattering of the emission light by the detection target in the detection space; an external disturbance light processing unit that prevents the entry of external disturbance light to the detection space; and an internal disturbance light processing unit for processing internal disturbance light that is other than the scattered light and that is generated in the detection space resulting from the emission light. The external disturbance light processing unit and the internal disturbance light processing unit are constitutional elements that are different from each other. The external disturbance light processing unit is provided outside the detection space. The internal disturbance light processing unit is provided inside the detection space.
