Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fire detection and early response system using an autonomous-travel mobile robot, and disclosed is a fire detection and early response system comprising: at least one mobile robot; a charging station capable of storing and supplying a fire extinguisher; and a control server for analyzing and diagnosing a fire, mapping spatial information, and integrally controlling the mobile robot and the charging station, wherein the at least one mobile robot can autonomously travel, a plurality of robots is controlled to perform an allocated task and acquires various kinds of image information and sensing information while autonomously traveling in a monitored area within a determined time at a speed in a predetermined reference range, whether there is an omission in information, and the like, acquired by means of a leading robot from among the plurality of robots is determined so that a following robot captures a supplementary image or recaptures an image as necessary so as to determine whether a fire breaks out on the basis of accurate site information, and the present invention is designed such that the mobile robot can receive a fire extinguisher through an adjacent charging station according to the progression of a fire and suppress the early onset of the fire, and thus 24-hour unmanned fire monitoring is possible and, particularly, a fire outbreak, which can occur at a vulnerable time period during which managers are insufficient, can be quickly handled.
