Abstract:
A fire detector provided with a main body (2) having a detection unit (3) which detects an outbreak of fire, a body (5) accommodating the detection unit (3), and a plate-shaped cover (8) which is affixed to the body (5). The detection unit (3) has connection terminals (18) which protrude upward from the cover (8). Provided on the upper surface side of the cover (8) are: a downward-sloping section (8a), which descends from the central area of the cover (8) to the outer peripheral edge side, and a wall section (23), which prevents water from adhering to the connection terminals (18). The downward-sloping section (8a) of the cover (8) and the wall section (23) form a guide path (24) that guides water which has adhered to the upper surface side of the cover (8) toward the outer peripheral edge side of the cover (8).
