Abstract:
A fire extinguishing system for a building exterior wall, comprising a water storage tank (1), at least one water drainage pipe (2), an electric valve (5), an overflow gutter (3) and a tap water pipe (4). The water storage tank is arranged at the top of a building; a water inlet end of the water drainage pipe is communicated with the water storage tank; the electric valve is arranged between the water inlet end and the water storage tank; a water outlet end of the water drainage pipe is communicated with the overflow gutter; the overflow gutter is arranged along the edge of the top surface of the building; the tap water pipe is communicated with the water storage tank. The fire extinguishing system (10) has a low cost, can be started quickly, and exhibits significant effects on fire extinguishing. In addition, the fire extinguishing system (10) is firm and durable, convenient to maintain routinely, and easy to be constructed on existing buildings so as to effectively eliminate the burning risk of all present building exterior walls, and thus has a wide application range. For unconstructed buildings, the whole fire-fighting systems of the buildings can be more perfect and reliable without much cost as long as the fire extinguishing system is taken into account during design.
