Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to allow a multilayer neural network to learn efficiently and to improve fire detection precision even if the portion characteristic of a fire in an overall image is limited to a narrow range. A monitor image of a monitor region which has been captured by a monitor camera (16) is segmented into a plurality of block images. The block images are inputted into a fire detector (24) which is configured by a multilayer neural network (30) in order to detect a fire. A learning image generation device (12): segments a learning image in which a fire has been captured in the monitor region into a plurality of block images; and according to the presence of flame and/or smoke in each of the block images and the proportion of each of the block images which is occupied by the flame and/or smoke, classifies and causes the block images to be stored as either fire learning block images, normal situation learning block images, or non-learning block images. A learning control unit (26) inputs into the fire detector (24) the fire learning block images and the normal situation learning block images which have been stored in the learning image generation device (12), and causes the multilayer neural network (30) to learn by deep learning.
