Abstract:
A fire-resistant shelter is provided with which it is possible to control the temperature of an underground escape space in relation to fire continuing for a long period of time. The fire-resistant shelter 1 comprises a shelter body 10, a water supply device 20, a heat-blocking housing 30, and a water drainage device 50, the shelter body 10 being made of concrete having a thickness of 30 cm, and an escape space 110 being provided inside the shelter body 10. When a fire has occurred, escape is made to the escape space 110 and an underground door 11 is closed, after which a valve of a water supply pipe 41 is opened by a remote operation from inside the escape space, and water W1 is supplied to a heat-blocking space 120. Water is confirmed to have been stored up to a position at the top end of the escape space 110, and the supply of water W1 is stopped. At this time, the water W1 is stored up to a prescribed height in a ceiling water tank 21, and due to the latent heat effect, etc., when the stored water W1 evaporates, an increase in temperature of a ceiling 14 is thereby suppressed. Due to the latent heat effect, etc., when water W2 stored in the heat-blocking space 120 evaporates, the increase in temperature in a heat-blocking side wall 13a due to the heat of the fire and flames can be suppressed.
