Abstract:
This fire sensing system is provided with a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has a light source which transmits an optical signal. The receiver has: a detector which detects the optical signal transmitted from the light source over a prescribed optical propagation interval; a signal processing unit which, on the basis of the optical signal which is detected by the detector, computes at least one of a first gas concentration, first smoke concentration, and first temperature in the optical propagation interval; sensors which acquire at least one of a second gas concentration, second smoke concentration, and second temperature in the surroundings; and a distinguishing device which distinguishes whether a fire has occurred by comparing the at least one of the first gas concentration, first smoke concentration, and first temperature computed by the signal processing unit with the at least one of the second gas concentration, second smoke concentration, and second temperature in the surroundings acquired by the sensors.
