Abstract:
A fireproofing powder coating for steel structures and the preparing method thereof,
which belong to the coating technique field, are disclosed. The raw materials
for preparing the fireproofing powder coating comprise polyester resin, epoxy
resin, hardening agent, catalyst, charring agent, foaming agent, expansion
auxiliary agent, reinforcing agent, fume inhibitor, flexibilizer, levelling
agent, degassing agent, flowing agent, pigments and fillers. The fireproofing
powder coating can be prepared by melting polyester resin, epoxy resin, catalyst,
carbon-forming agent, foaming agent, expansion auxiliary agent and levelling
agent together and extruding, then mixing with other components and melt extruding,
tabletting and crushing, followed by pulverizing with ACM mill, sieving and
packing to give the resultant product. The coating can be used as fireproofing
coating for various steel structures.
