Abstract:
A first electronic device according to one embodiment comprises: a first interface including at least one terminal; a dummy load electrically connected to the first interface; a first battery electrically connected to the first interface and the dummy load; and a control circuit operatively connected to the dummy load, wherein the control circuit according to one embodiment can be configured to: receive power from a second electronic device through the first interface; check the state of charge (SOC) of the second electronic device on the basis of a packet received from the second electronic device through the first interface; and apply a direct current, having a designated magnitude, to the dummy load on the basis of checking that the SOC of the second electronic device has a value greater than a designated value while the first battery of the first electronic device is fully charged.
