Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a fishing rod that can be made smaller in a collapsed form, wherein auxiliary components such as butt ropes can be fitted easily and stably. [Solution] This fishing rod 1 has a cylindrical cover member 20 covered so that a plurality of rods housed in a base rod 3 do not protrude, and the cover member 20 constitutes a grip attached to the rear end of the base rod 3. A middle-lower plug 16 that closes an opening in the rear end of the base rod 3 can be attached to and detached from the rear end of the base rod 3, a lower plug 15 is detachably attached so as to cover the middle-lower plug, and the middle-lower plug 16 is provided with a fitting part 16a to which an auxiliary component can be fitted.
