Abstract:
A five-axis corner feature efficient machining tool path generation method, implementing the cutting state optimization of five-axis corner machining by controlling a tool shaft vector and an equivalent cutting width of a tool during five-axis corner machining. Firstly, a tool shaft vector is calculated according to a corner side face (2), and then the tool path driving geometry of a five-axis corner is obtained according to tool geometric parameters, a corner depth, and an axial cutting depth; a maximum equivalent cutting width of the current tool is determined according to the performance of a machine tool and information of the machining tool, and a machining tool path of a five-axis corner feature in a groove cavity is generated by using a cyclic machining strategy. The five-axis corner machining tool path can be suitable for machining of various five-axis corners of which side faces are planes or equivalent planes, and the machining quality of the corners can be effectively improved.
