Abstract:
The present invention is a method for operating terminals in a broadband wireless communication system in which a fixed allocation technique is employed, comprising the steps of: receiving a fixed resource allocation message from a base station; checking whether the fixed resource allocation message so received includes frame position information for a second round of fixed resource allocation; determining the frame position for allocating the fixed resource by using the fixing allocation frequency and the frame position information included in the fixed resource allocation message, in cases where the results of the check show that frame position data for a second round of fixed resource allocation is included; and receiving data packets via the fixed allocated resource in the frame position so determined.
