Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a fixing device (23) provided with a fixing roller (25) for fixing a toner image on a sheet and a plurality of separation claws (40) which are in contact with the fixing roller (25) and which separate the sheet having the toner image fixed thereon from the fixing roller (25), and is characterized by including a holder (28) for supporting the plurality of separation claws (40) and a sliding mechanism (30) for allowing the holder (28) to slide along a longitudinal direction of the fixing roller (25).
