The angle β between the tapered outer circumferential surface(11) of a split male cone (5) and the central axis C is preferably set larger by 0.3°-0.6°than the angle &agr between the tapered inner circumferential surface(16) of a female receiving metal (17) and the central axis C. On the tapered outer circumferential surface (11) of a split male cone (5), a frictional securing part (7) to a PC steel strand of a predetermined length from the forward end part and a wedge type securing part (9) are provided. Furthermore, a beveled connecting part (1), an arcuate connecting part (2), and the like, are provided at the internal corner part (20) of the tapered inner circumferential surface(11) of the split male cone (5) and its circumferential split end face (19).
