Disclosed is fixing member (3) which can accommodate fixing holes of various dimensions and shapes, and mount poles of various plate thicknesses, and can achieve fixing and removal of a blank panel by a simple operation. The fixing member (3) is used when a blank panel body (1) is fixed to a mount pole (7a) in which a fixing hole (7a1) is formed. The fixing member (3) has a spherical portion (4) which is inserted into the fixing hole (7a1) while being deformed when the blank panel body (1) is fixed to the mount pole (7a), and stays in the fixing hole (7a1). The fixing member (3) is attached to the blank panel body (1) which is provided with a boss (2) on the back side thereof. A worker aligns the position of the boss (2) to which the fixing member (3) is attached with the position of a desired fixing hole (7a1), and pushes the spherical portion (4) into the fixing hole (7a1) while deforming the spherical portion to crush it. Consequently, a blank panel (9) can be attached easily to the mount pole (7a).
