Abstract:
A fixing structure according to the present invention comprises: a sheet body 2 that has an opening 21 into which an insertion member that is guided outside of a living body from inside the living body can be inserted, that is configured from a nonabsorbable material which is biocompatible, and that is porous; and a thread-shaped body 3 that is sewn into the surface of the sheet body 2 such that the sheet body 2 forms a relief structure which provides resistance to relative movement in the extension direction of the sheet body 2 with respect to a target location of the living body which the insertion member is inserted into. Through such a structure, it is possible to provide a fixing structure that makes it possible to prevent displacement relative to a target location such as skin without suturing to the target location, and early-stage fixing to the target location is possible.
