Title:
FK506-BINDING PROTEIN GENE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1995/024480
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An FK506-binding protein gene containing a base sequence coding for the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1; specifically an FK506-binding protein gene containing the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2; a process for producing a recombinant FK506-binding protein by the expression of the above gene; and the recombinant FK506-binding protein thus produced. The gene can express an FK506-binding protein, and the obtained protein is useful especially for elucidating the mode of action of immunosuppression in vivo and developing and screening remedies for autoimmune diseases such as rheumatism and SLE.
