Abstract:
Provided is a flame arrester, comprising a flame arrester housing having an inlet and an outlet, and a flame arrester core arranged within the housing. Arranged within the flame arrester housing between the flame arrester core and the inlet is a flame arresting mechanism for stopping flames from directly impacting the central region of the flame arrester core. The flame arresting mechanism may include a flame arresting cylinder and a flame arresting plate assembly disposed within the flame arrester housing.
