Abstract:
Disclosed are a flame-retardant agent, a flame-retardant resin composition and an insulated wire, each of which has good low-temperature properties and excellent cold resistance and is highly productive.
An insulated wire is produced by insulating-coating the outside of a conductive material with a flame-retardant resin composition. The flame-retardant resin composition comprises: a flame-retardant agent which comprises magnesium hydroxide produced by chemical synthesis and a surface-treating agent comprising an organic polymer having a melting point of 150°C or higher, wherein the surface of magnesium hydroxide is treated by the surface-treating agent; and a base resin.
