Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a flame retardant chemical flooring material and an aqueous protective coating agent therefor which can at once solve safety-related issues that were problems in the past, such as fire hazards, legal restrictions on handling, storage and transport, and human health problems caused by volatile components such as solvents. In the present invention, an aqueous coating film is formed on a surface, the aqueous coating film having a flash point of 80ºC or higher, not igniting even in the presence of a fire source, containing absolutely no flammable solvent or alcohol as a diluting solvent, having a gloss value of 80 or higher, having a hardness of 10 H or higher, having a dry lubricity of 0.6 or higher and having a wet lubricity of 0.5 or higher.
