Abstract:
[Problem] To suppress the corrosion of a metal member in an electrical insulation component that uses a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition in which a halogenated benzyl acrylate flame retardant is used as a flame retardant. [Solution] The problem is solved with a polybutylene terephthalate resin composition that is for an electrical insulation component and that uses a halogenated benzyl acrylate flame retardant as a flame retardant, wherein the amount of a halogenated aromatic compound such as chlorobenzene is suppressed in the flame retardant production process.
