Abstract:
The present invention provides a resin composition which places little burden on the environment and which exhibits, with respect to conventional polyamide-based flame retardant resin compositions, superior: mechanical properties; rigidity; appearance characteristics; flame retardancy; and metal corrosion resistance. The present invention relates to a flame retardant resin composition comprising 35-85 mass% of a polyamide resin (A), 0.45-30 mass% of cellulose fibers (B) having an average fiber diameter of 10 µm or less, 4.5-40 mass% of a phosphinic acid metal salt (C) and 0-35 mass% of a reinforcing material (D) other than cellulose fibers.
