Abstract:
This flame-retardant rubber composition comprises: an ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated diene copolymer; 60 mass% or more of aluminum hydroxide; and 8 mass% or less in total of an alkyl-modified silane coupling agent and a hydrocarbon plasticizer. The alkyl-modified silane coupling agent constitutes 5 mass% or more of the aluminum hydroxide. A rubber composition having excellent flame-retardancy, physical properties preferable for a sealing material, and low environmental load can be provided.
