Abstract:

Provided is a flanged grindstone that can reduce the amount of grindstone that is ground due to truing, and to reduce variations in balance adjustment. In a flanged grindstone 1, flanges 30, 51 comprise: spindle insertion holes 33, 52 that are formed at the center of rotation of the flanges 30, 51 for insertion onto a spindle 50; and engaging protrusions 36, 55 that are circularly formed on pinching surfaces 31A, 51A of the flanges 30, 51 about the center of rotation of the spindle insertion holes 33, 52, the engaging protrusions 36, 55 protruding from the pinching surfaces 31A, 51A. The grindstone 10 comprises engaging grooves 14 on the side surfaces of the grindstone 10 pinched between the flanges 30, 51, the engaging grooves 14 being circularly formed about the center of rotation of the grindstone 10. The engaging protrusions 36, 55 of the flanges 30, 51 are engaged with the engaging grooves 14 of the grindstone 10 to concentrically position the center of rotation of the flanges 30, 51 and the center of rotation of the grindstone 10.
