Abstract:
The invention closes openings that exist in high places, such as air supply and exhaust vents, powerlessly and without manual operation by utilizing the vertically upward force of water when a tsunami smashes into a building. A disaster prevention panel that closes an opening (2a) that is provided on the wall surface of a building (2). A doorstop (3) is provided on the outer wall surface of the opening (2a) and side doorstops (4) are provided on both sides of the doorstop (3). A door (1), which has a specific gravity lower than seawater and is for closing the opening (2a), is installed between the side doorstops (4) on the two sides so as to swing upward freely with the lower part of the doorstop (3) as the fulcrum.
