Abstract:
A flat transmission device (11) comprises a belt-shaped part (13) and a clamp device (21). The clamp device (21) has: a master clamp member (31) in a state of covering a width-direction part of an end section of the belt-shaped part (13) including a side edge (13c) on a first side of the belt-shaped part (13) in the width direction; and a slave clamp member (32) in a state of covering a width-direction part of the end section of the belt-shaped part (13) including a side edge (13d) on a second side of the belt-shaped part (13) in the width direction. By moving relative to each other in a state of partially overlapping each other in the width direction, the master clamp member (31) and the slave clamp member (32) together attain a state of covering the entire end section of the belt-shaped part (13) over the width direction thereof.
